ServoDyn

The ServoDyn panel configures the turbine controller and electrical system model. Click ServoDyn under MODULES in the sidebar to open it.

What this panel controls

ServoDyn models the generator, pitch actuator, and high-level control system. The panel exposes the primary controller settings:

Setting	Description
Generator model	Simple (1) or user-defined DLL (5). Most reference turbine models ship with a DISCON DLL controller
DISCON DLL path	Path to the compiled controller shared library (.dll / .so / .dylib)
Rated generator speed	Target generator speed for above-rated control (rpm)
Pitch control	Individual vs collective pitch control mode
Nacelle yaw rate	Maximum yaw actuator rate (°/s)

For models using an external DLL controller (e.g. the NREL reference turbines), the DLL path shown in this panel must point to the correct binary for the operating system. FlowUrja Studio bundles compatible DLL binaries alongside the reference turbine model files.
